NATA: North Argyll Trail Association

With its undulating terrain and vast green landscape, North Argyll seems like the ideal location for mountain biking. Unfortunately, trails are not well documented, maintained or accessible for those that want to get into biking. North Argyll Trail Association are about changing that - bringing together a community of bikers who want to grow the mountain biking scene in our area. NATA work in collaboration with Adventure Oban, thanks to our shared interest of getting more people in the outdoors!

So far we’ve been working on trails at Ganavan, Ben Lora and Glencruitten Woods, with kind permission from their landowners. Building good relationships landowners is an integral part of ensuring we can continue our work in making trails rideable for all in Oban.

If you would like to join in on one of our dig days (Sunday mornings and midge-less evenings), keep an eye on our socials or get in touch (see below) to be added to our WhatsApp group! We’d love to have you join the community and have your say in what trails we work on next.

Keep in touch!

If you’d like to chat about NATA, whether that’s getting involved with what we do or to chat about additional MTB needs for the area, send an email to Hannah at hannah@adventureoban.org - we’d love to chat!
